Parked car damaged by a 4×4 – unlucky!
This unlucky driver was parked up, just sitting in her car when a 4X4 reversed onto her bonnet. Ouch! The parked car was this lovely black Mazda MX-5 which was damaged quite badly in the non fault accident. The repairs needed were a new bonnet, a new nearside wing, a new front bumper and a new nearside head lamp.
Parked car collisions aren’t always straightforward.
There have been a few cases where parked cars have been damaged and the insurers haven’t allowed the policyholder to claim. In London, one lady’s car was hit twice whilst parked on the street and her insurer refused to pay out. This MX-5 owner didn’t have such a hard time whilst using our Accident Management Service to get the car repaired. We provide a like-for-like vehicle and handle all the negotiations with insurance companies, which we know can be both time-consuming and stressful to say the least.
Whilst we had the MX-5 in the workshop we also touched up a few scratches around the rear quarters and boot. When it came into us at Non Fault Car Accident Repair it wasn’t a pretty sight, but nothing that we haven’t seen before.
The new bumper we fitted is shown here in our low-bake oven after a coat of primer. It is sprayed to the manufacturers finish before being dried to perfection.
The team just had to piece the MX-5 back together. The new parts fitted, it was ready for a wash, wax and polish.
And here’s the MX-5 all ready to leave the workshop. We hope you agree it’s looking as good as new!
